Dr. Layer was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from Denison University, where he was also a member of the Big Red Football team. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. His grandfather was an oral surgeon in the Cincinnati area and prompted his interest in the dental field. Dr. Layer is a member of the Cincinnati Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, and was a previous chair member for the American Student Dental Association. He is continuing his education in dental implants and clear aligner orthodontic therapy. Dr. Layer lives in the Oakley area with his wife Miranda, and their golden retriever, Sammie. When Dr. Layer isn’t in the office, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and all things sports. He’s a big foodie and is excited to explore all that Cincinnati has to offer; recommendations welcome!
